CLT EM-MWD

Designed and manufactured in-house, the Current Loop Telemetry Electromagnetic (CLT EM) MWD System is a full-featured tool that transmits electric signals through geological formations to the surface rather than through the mud as a conventional mud pulse MWD system does.

Proven Technology

No mechanical moving parts eliminates one of the leading factors that cause an MWD tool to be tripped out of the well.

Survey data is transmitted faster and there is no need to wait on connections for transmission.

The ability to be wireline retrieved results in significant time and cost savings if downhole problems or lost-in-hole situations occur.

Industry standard tri-axial, magnetometer and accelerometer sensors accurately measure azimuth, inclination, and toolface orientation.

Progressive Innovation

In-house servicing and development means upgrades are continuously rolled out to meet market demands.

High Voltage and Super High Voltage configurations transmit signals through formations that block other EM-Tool’s signals.

Exact location of the bit can be determined when the EnSight Measurement-At-Bit sensor is added to the CLT EM-MWD system.

Harsh vibrations do not alter performance when the enhanced Robust CLT EM-MWD system is downhole, especially in air and underbalanced applications.
