Based in Calgary, Alberta, Phoenix is a progressive directional and horizontal drilling services company, which is among the largest contractors in North America, having drilled over 6,000 wells. In addition to our drilling services, Phoenix engineers, manufactures, operates and sells proprietary drilling guidance systems, all backed by our innovative and specialized research and development (R&D) group. Phoenix has operated in Canada since 1985 and became a publicly traded company on March 24, 2003, which was reorganized to an income fund effective on July 1, 2004. Phoenix trades under the symbol PHX.UN on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).
